Bangkok Day 1
Our last trip together before he flies to the US. This time it was on impulse, we bought the deal from deal.com without even reading through the terms and condition. felt kind of cheated. but who to blame but ourselves for not reading?
Before we set off, we had snacks at Changi Airport Terminal 1. Took the Thai Airways.
We didn't camwhore on the plane as we were busy watching movies.
YAY! we reached Thailand - Bangkok Airport! But the sad thing is we were not transported to the airport immediately after we landed. Had to take a bus which is freaking warm with so many people squeezing inside.
We took a van provided by the tour agency to our hotel. Super embarrassing as we thought this was our hotel. I was so excited when I saw the grand entrance and decorations. We got off thinking that we reached but NO! we did not!. wts. went back into the van. Reached another nice hotel called Grand Diamond. haix, same same Diamond why ours so cui!
And along the way we saw this! R asked to take a photo of it. ok la. my english is not considered good as well, shouldn't bitch about it.
MBK
The first shopping centre we went is MBK. Many websites highly recommended this shopping centre but i thought it was ok only. PLATINUM FASHION IS THE BEST!!!!
Pork leg with rice. It was quite cheap and taste not bad. Too bad, the portion is probably quite small.
R had Tom Yum Gong. YUCKS! It's bad.
Coincidentally, the first day is also the King's birthday so everywhere you can see people in Yellow (the king's colour) and the King's photo is everywhere! (literally) I think these are the civil servants, all dressed in their uniforms.
We went back to our hotel at around 6.30pm by foot to wait for the tour guide to bring us to Cabaret which is in fact super near from our hotel.
They are all trannys but super like girls. Big boobs, sadly, bigger than mine :( haha
Had a photo talking session at the end of the show. They're all lined up waiting to take pictures with the audience.
She has a weird smile.
But she's really pretty!
This is a real man, not tranny.
R kept complaining that he's hungry and wanted to try the street food. So, we settled down at this beef noodles stall.
Bought 3 different sticks and all only 20 baht? can't remember, but freaking cheap!
That's the end of day1:)
