make-up during lesson:)
Decided to do a short write-up on how to get this look. Many products were used.
First, I applied toner and all the usual moisturiser from Shu Uemura, SKII and etc. Take note, do not apply any make-up products when the moisturisers are not totally absorbed into your face. It will look cakey.
Then, I applied face primer on my face. For the T-zone, I used Smashbox's Anti-shine primer.
As for the rest of the face, I used Laura Mercier's Foundation primer to prep my face.
Then, I used Make Up Forever's Liquid Foundation (shown below in 1:1 ratio). This liquid foundation is really light and still have very good coverage.
I used a Naturactor concealer to conceal my pimples, blemishes and etc by dotting on the selected area. This concealer is from Japan which is a little heavy but can definitely cover all the imperfections.
For my dark eye circles, I used Make Up Shop's Studio cover foundation.
To set my foundation, I use Dior's compact powder (diorsnow light veil. I brushed it on my face lightly to achieve a matte look.
For my eyes, I applied a cream eyeshadow (my teacher's one, some korean brand) to prep my eye for the eye shadow. I used Dior's matte and shiny duo eyeshadow. I have to say that this eyeshadow is really GOOD! It really stays on the eye and is really easy to apply on. The colour is also very rich.
For eyeliner, I lined my inner eyelid with The Face Shop's waterproof eyeline which I personally feel that it is the best eyeliner (crayon type) that I've used. It does not smudge even when I go clubbing or whatever (I perspire really fast but it does not mess up my make-up). Furthermore, in order to line the inner eye, you really have to use one that is really waterproof, else you will look like a panda. To me, it's really important to line the inner of your eyes. Some of my friends put on the eyeliner without lining the inner eye and it always seems like there's a gap there.
For my lashes, I applied ZFC's mascara before putting on the fake eyelashes which I chosed the less fanciful ones since this is like my 2nd time putting on fake eyelashes. Luckily, these eyelashes that my teacher bought from Taiwan has really soft stem and hence, you don't feel like you're wearing one after some time of getting used to unlike those cheap ones that you can get from outside. They really prick the eyes which I hate as I have very sensitive eyes. My eyes always turn really red when it is irritated slightly only.
Before I apply any mascara, I'll curl my lashes first because my lashes are not naturally curling upwards. (Shiseido's eyelash curler)
So, first I apply the black one.
Then, the white one which actually has fibres on it if i'm not wrong. These fibres are really marvelours! It extends my lashes by a lot!
I used eye putti's eyelash glue to stick my fake-eyelashes up. It's a japanese brand. really awesome one. it will be transparent once it's dried up.
For my brows, I always use Shu Uemura's Hard Formula Eye Brow pencil. The brown one really looks natural on the face since my hair colour is brown too:) However, you have to couple it with a make-up brush for eye brows to even out the colour. Always make sure the inner side of the eyebrows should be of a lighter shade as compared to the end.
For blusher, I used Majolica Marjorca's blusher. A very sweet pink colour.
For my lips, I use Dior's lip colour palette. (a gift from ryz:))
Lastly, I used M.A.C.'s Charged water that Hui Min introduced to set my make-up and I have to say it's really good. I'm so going to buy it!

So, this is my before look. Oily, uneven skin tone, uneven sized eyes (small), red pimples all over (especially under my fringe)

And my after look:)

bye
