Makeup: Makeup Blunders II
I always detest seeing girls with eyeliner that shows one distinct line in between their eyeliner and eye lash. It happened to many of my friends but I'm so sorry, I didn't point it out to them. I thought it might just be their style. But I really can't take it anymore, so girls, draw your eyeliner properly! The photo above shows my eyes with and without eyeliner. As shown above, my eyes are different. One is rounder and bigger than the other and drawing eyeliner will only magnify the difference but it does make my eyes look bigger.
So, this is what happens when you draw eyeliner without tightlining. This is in fact still ok because if your eyeliner is black enough and your lashes are thick enough, you can still get away with it. But if you draw your eyeliner just a little higher and have lesser lashes, oh mann... fill in the gap please~
It's not easy to capture on camera the difference but it's the 眼神 that is different, it also gives the illusion of thicker lashes. This can be achieved simply by lining the lash line and water line.
Just a close up for you to see.
I removed the darker line which was above and left only the eyelines on the lash line and water line. It doesn't enhance your eyes that much but still makes you look less sleepy and tired which is the 眼神 that I was talking about.
However, I'm not saying it's wrong even though I titled it makeup "blunders". For me, it is a mistake if I can see the gap clearly. It irritates me. I don't go around correcting people the way they apply their eyeliner. I know that some people have more sensitive eyes so it makes it rather hard to apply eyeliner on the lash line and water line because they tear easily. Believe me when I said I know because I'd done makeup on so many ladies with watery eyes. It is so sensitive that even drawing eyeliner on the eyelid, not even the lash line, will cause them to tear like a tap and mess up the face makeup.
It is a personal preference which I think will give you the most natural eyes if it's for everyday makeup. There's even eyeliner embroidery (Idk if it's the correct term) for the lash line so that ladies do not have to go through the hassle of applying eyeliner everyday. So, if you're going for a natural everyday look, try applying eyeliner on the lash line or water line if you dare go nearer to the eye balls. You will notice the difference if you do it correctly. I swear. haha.
Good Luck!
